Time Off – Non-Exempt Hourly

 

Paid Time Off (PTO)

·     All non-exempt hourly employees will accrue PTO for time off.

·     Hours and accrual rate for PTO is based on years of service with DWG.

Sick (SICK)

·       Paid Sick accrues at the rate of one hour per every 30 hours worked and is paid at the employee’s rate of hourly pay.

·       Accruals start on the first day of employment.

·       Accrued paid sick leave will carry over to the following year of employment and is capped at 72 hours (9 days).

·       Can use Sick pay after working 90 days with DWG

·       What can you use sick pay for:

o   Medical Doctors appointment

o   To care for a family member who is sick or take them to a medical appointment

o   If you are feeling ill

Wellness Day    (WELL)

Eligible to use 8 hours of Wellness Day per month to promote Mental Health

Used for a mental wellness

·       Take time to relax          

·       Engage in an activity outside of work – Spend the day at a park, hike, enjoy a picnic with a friend or family member
