Time Off –
Salary Exempt
Flexible Time
Off (FTO)
- All Salaried Exempt and Commissioned employees
participate in paid Flexible Time off.
- Employees can take as much time as they would
like for time off, subject to Supervisor approval
- May use up to 10 days for Leave of Absence.
Sick (SICK)
- Paid Sick accrues at the rate of one hour per
every 30 hours worked and is paid at the employee’s rate of hourly pay.
- Accruals start on the first day of employment.
- Accrued paid sick leave will carry over to the
following year of employment and is capped at 72 hours (9 days).
Can use Sick pay after working 90 days with DWG
What can you use sick pay for:
o Medical
Doctors appointment
o To
care for a family member who is sick or take them to a medical appointment
o If you are feeling ill
Holidays:
· New Year’s Eve
· New Year’s Day
· Martin Luther King Jr. Day
· President’s Day
· Memorial Day
· Juneteenth
· Independence Day
· Labor Day
· Indigenous Peoples’ Day
· Veteran’s Day
· Thanksgiving Day
· Friday after Thanksgiving
· Christmas Eve
· Christmas Day
· The work week between Christmas and New Year’s Day
Wellness Day (WELL)
Eligible to use 8
hours of Wellness Day per month to promote Mental Health
Used for a mental
wellness
- Take time to relax
- Engage in an activity outside of work – Spend
the day at a park, hike, enjoy a picnic with a friend or family member
