2. Navigate to the Candidate Record and Click on the "ACTIONS" menu

You can do this from the Job record as well - wherever you are at in Bullhorn (Candidate or Job), you can create the Submission

3. Click on Add Submission

This is the step of adding a Candidate to a Job in Bullhorn for consideration

4. Enter the Job (Number or Name) that you are Submitting the Candidate to

5. Click on SUBMISSION TEMPLATES

You can use the "Tai Iwamasa - Maris East Submission Template" or feel free to create one of your own! This template will automatically appear when you create the 3DIQ Candidate Profile.

6. Click on SAVE

Once you have completed filling out your template, click "SAVE"

7. Open the Job

In Bullhorn, open the Job that you submitted the Candidate to

8. Click on "3DIQ" tab

9. The Candidate Profile loads in 3DIQ

You may have to refresh Bullhorn if the Candidate has not had time to load here.

10. Click on Create Profile

Choose the Candidate or Candidates you want to create profiles for by selecting the checkbox next to the Candidates name and select "Create Profile"

11. Choose or Create a Profile Version

The resume that you want to use must be saved in the Files section of the Candidate record - choose the one you want by selecting the highlighted blue text of the file name.


If you have previously created a profile for this Candidate in 3DIQ, you can choose to use that and just edit - that choice will only be available if you have previously created a profile using 3DIQ for this Candidate.

12. Internal Notes

If you are sending this Candidate to an Account Manager for review prior to sending to the Client, enter your notes in this field (Example - This Candidate is a good fit for this role because...)


These notes are only visible to your Account Manager - the client can't see any information entered into this box.

13. SAVE Internal Notes

Ensure that you save the Internal Notes after you have completed them

14. Recruiter Notes

Enter your Candidate "Write Up" that you want the client to see (driven by your Bullhorn template) in the Recruiter Notes section. These notes are visible to the client.


Make sure to click "SAVE" after you have entered the notes.

15. Attachments

If you need to add any attachments - do that here by expanding this section and loading the document either from Bullhorn or your Desktop

17. Contact

The Contact shown to the Client will always pull from the Job Owner field in Bullhorn

18. Feedback Questions

If you would like to change the feedback questions (shown to the client) by Job, click the 3 dots next to the job and select "Customize Feedback Questions"

19. Add/Edit Feedback Questions

Add/Edit Feedback Questions here - this corresponds to the Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down shown to the Client on the Candidate profile.


The clients feedback/answers here are written as a Note back into Bullhorn.

20. Email Account Manager

Choose "Email Account Manager" if you are sending this to someone internally for review before it goes to the Client.

Choose "Save & Log Submission" if you are sending this directly to a client.

22. Account Manager Review

If you chose "Email Account Manager" then this is the email that the Account Manager receives. They have the ability to either View the Candidate (preview of what the client sees) or Edit Candidate (to make adjustments and send to the client.)

23. Account Manager Review (Edit Candidate)

The Account Manager will choose Edit Candidate to review the write up and presentation to make any needed adjustments prior to sending to the Client.


Once that is complete, they will send to the client (step below)

24. Email & Log Submission

This sends the Candidate write-up and link to the Client.


This also creates a Client Submission for the Client in Bullhorn and moves the Candidate into that "bucket" on the Submission.

25. Email Delivery to Client

When you click "Email & Log Submission" it will automatically open your Gmail window and populate your Recruiter Notes from the Submission as well as the unique Candidate link.


It also prefills the Subject Line of your email as well.

26. Click Send

This will send the Candidate to the Client for review

27. Read Notifications

You will get a read notification each time the Candidate link has been viewed by the Client.


You will notice in this notification is a button that says "Edit Candidate" - since this is a live link, any edits you make will show to the client in real time. If you made a mistake and need to change something in the write-up or you forgot an important bullet/skill then you can add and it will appear to the client in real-time.

28. Mobile Friendly

3DIQ is mobile friendly - you and your client can view from anywhere on any device.


The Candidate profile can be edited by the Account Manager directly from the link, no need to be in Bullhorn. However, all information updated will write back to the Candidate record in Bullhorn. 😀
