Candidate Metric Definitions

  • Candidates Created - Total number of new candidate records created within the selected timeframe.

Cross Database Metric Definitions for Candidates

  • Contractors on Assignment - Total number of distinct contractors (candidates) on assignment during designated timeframe.
  • Contractors on Billing - Total distinct contractors (candidates) on assignment with hours documented and paid within the designated timeframe. 


Contact Metric Definitions

  • Contacts Created - Total number of new contact records created within the selected timeframe.
  • Clients Billed- Number of unique clients who will be billed for that period


Company Metric Definitions

  • Clients Created - Total number of new company records created within the selected timeframe.

Cross Database Metric Definitions for Companies

  • New Active Clients - Total number of companies with their first Placement in over one (1) year. 
  • Clients Billed - Total distinct companies billed within the designated timeframe. 


Submission Metric Definitions

  • Internal Submits - Total number of candidates submitted to jobs. 
  • External Submits - Total number of candidates submitted to contacts after being submitted to jobs. 
  • External Interviews - Total number of candidates with interviews scheduled after being submitted to contacts for a job. 
  • Offers Extended - Total number of candidates with offers extended after interviewing with contacts for a job. 


Note Activity Metric Definitions

  • Client Meetings - Total of number meetings with contacts. 
    • Defined by Note Type(s): Client Visit, Client Visit (New), Client Visit (Virtual)
  • Internal Interviews - Total number of preliminary interviews with Candidates.

Job Metric Definitions

  • Job Orders Created - Number of new job records created within the selected timeframe.
  • Orders - Number of distinct job order records open. 
  • Openings - Number of job openings as defined by the number of openings field on jobs. 
    • The number of openings field has been implemented on the Job Record. This has been updated historically. This field needs to be completed to ensure accurate fill rate calculations. 
  • Openings Closed - Number of job openings moved from Open to Closed.  
    • A job order close date is set once the open/closed flag is set to closed. If the order is reopened and reclosed, the second close date will be used. 
  • Age of Order - Amount of days since the job order was opened.
    • Calculation: Days Between (Date Last Closed, Date First Opened) *If Date Last Closed is not populated, then today's date is used instead.
  • Days to Fill - Average number of days to fulfill a job order.
    • Calculation: Days Between ([Closed] Job Date Added, First Placement Date)
    • Contingent upon when recruiters close their jobs. 
  • Fill Rate - Job order fill rate. 
    • Calculation: Total (Successful Placements) / Total (Openings)
    • Contingent upon when recruiters close their jobs. 


Placement Metric Definitions

  • Placements Created - Total number of placement records created within the selected timeframe.
  • Placements is Approved (Successful Placements) - Count of placements with statuses other than Processing, On Hold, Fail to Start.
  • Placements - Count of successful placements on assignment (contract) and placements created (perm)
  • Perm Placements - Count of successful placements created with employment types of 'Direct Hire', 'Retained', and 'Conversion'
  • Contract Placements - Count of successful placements on assignment with employment types of 'Contract' and 'Contract to Hire' 
  • Conversions - Count of successful placements created with an employment type of 'Conversion'
  • Starts - Count of Successful Placements starting within the designated timeframe. 
    • Contingent upon what has been documented in the Start Date field. 
  • Ends - Count of Successful Placements ending within the designated timeframe. 
    • Contingent upon what has been documented in the Scheduled End Date field. 
  • Net - Difference between Starts and Ends within designated timeframe. 
  • Placement Mark-up (%)* - The difference between bill rate and pay rate for Contract Placements expressed as a percentage. 
    • Calculation: =(Bill Rate-Pay Rate)/Pay Rate
  • Placement Mark-up ($)* - The difference between bill rate and pay rate for Contract Placements expressed as a dollar amount. 
    • Calculation: =Bill Rate - Pay Rate
  • Placement Fee Rate - Total amount to be billed to the customer expressed as a percentage of salary. 
  • Placement Fees* - Total amount to be billed to the customer expressed as a dollar ($) amount. 
  • Estimated Weekly Hours* - The average number of hours worked by contractors within any given work week. By default Estimated Weekly Hours are 37.5.
  •  Estimated Gross Profit (GP)* - Total estimated gross profit amount based on rate and estimated weekly hours (for Contract Placements) or fees (for Perm Placements).
    • Calculations: =(Bill Rate - Pay Rate) * Estimated Weekly Hours *Weeks Between(Start Date, End Date) 
  • Weekly Estimated Gross Profit (GP)* - Total estimated gross profit based on rate and estimated weekly hours for one week of work. 
  • Remaining Estimated Gross Profit (GP)* - Total estimated gross profit based on rate and estimated weekly hours for remaining weeks of placements selected.

  • New Active Clients - Total number of companies with their first Placement in over one (1) year. 
  • Contractors on Assignment - Total number of distinct contractors (candidates) on assignment during designated timeframe.


Transaction Metric Definitions

  • Revenue - The total amount billed to a customer specific to a placement. 
  • Hours - Total number of hours worked by Contractors on Billing
  • Paid - The total amount paid to a candidate specific to a placement. 
  • Burden Paid - The total amount of burden incurred by DWG specific to a candidate and placement. 
    • Calculation: =Paid*(Employee Type Burden Amount) 
      • W2 = 20%; C2C = 5%
  • Cost - The total cost of a placement. 
    • Calculation: =Paid+Burden Paid
  • Gross Profit (GP) - The total gross profit earned by placement expressed as a dollar amount. 
    • Calculation: =Revenue-Cost
  • GP % - The total gross profit earned by a placement expressed as a percentage. 
    • Calculation: =Gross Profit/Revenue
  • Contract GP %- Contract GP/Contract Revenue

  • Late Timesheets- number of unique timesheets submitted for w/e prior to the core flash period
  • Submitted Timesheets- Total number of unique timesheets submitted during the flash period

  • Avg Daily Contract Revenue- Revenue/number of business days within the period
  • Contract Revenue- total amount of revenue within the period 
  • Contract Gross Profit- total amount of dollars after burden calculations within the period

  • Clients Billed - Total distinct companies billed within the designated timeframe.

User Metric Definitions

  • Contributors - Total number of individuals involved with either a Job (Owners) or a Placement (Commission Recipients)
  • Full Desk - Total number of individuals involved with either a Job (Owners) or a Placement (Commission Recipients) who have been designated as Full Desk. 
  • Recruiters - Total number of individuals involved with either a Job (Owners) or a Placement (Commission Recipients) who have been designated as Recruiters.  
  • Salespersons - Total number of individuals involved with either a Job (Owners) or a Placement (Commission Recipients) who have been designated as Salespersons. 
  • Billing Contributors - Total number of individuals involved with a Placement which had transactions during the designated timeframe.
