1. Setting your LinkedIn Primary Email to your work email


Ensure your Primary email on LinkedIn is set to your DeWinter Group/Maris email address

Step #1: From the LinkedIn home page, click “Me

Step #3: On the left hand menu, select “Sign in & Security

Step #4: Select "Email Addresses"

Step #5: Ensure that your Dewinter/Maris email address is listed as the Primary on the account.


2. Whitelisting Email in Gmail (For Candidates)

  • If Candidates are not receiving emails you are sending them from Bullhorn, please have the Candidate follow these steps to whitelist DeWinter/Maris email addresses in their own Inbox

1. Log in to your Gmail account.

2.  Click on the gear icon at the top right corner.

3. Click on the “See all settings” selection.

4. Go to the “Filters and Blocked Addresses” tab, then Click on “Create a new filter”.

5. Now, go to the ‘From’ box and type in the domain or email address you’d like to whitelist, then click ‘create filter’ at the bottom.

6. Check the box “Never send it to Spam” followed by the “Create filter” button. This will ensure emails from that domain never go to spam.

7. On the same page, categorize the domain as primary to make sure it lands in the primary tab. Otherwise, it can go to promotions or social tabs and you may not read it.


3. Billing Contact Name on a Placement


When creating a Placement, ensure that the Billing Contact Name is the person that you want to receive the invoice.

If the Contact needs to be created in Bullhorn for the user to appear in this field, please create the Contact record with relevant contact information (email/phone)

4. Rejected "Bucket" on Jobs in Bullhorn


We have implemented the "Rejected" bucket as an overall category in Jobs in Bullhorn to provide better visibility. "Candidate Not Interested" is still an option to select (see steps below as an example)

1. Select the box next to the Candidate that you want to move to Rejected
2. Click "Move"
3. Select Rejected
