Reports in Power BI are categorized into one of the four report categories:

  1. Operational

    1. Operational reports focus on presenting metrics related to sales activity, recruitment activity, and job order (or requisition) success. These reports quantify actions and present facts as documented within the ATS.
  2. Financial

    1. Financial reports deliver metrics as they relate to financial projections (what has been booked) and actuals (what was invoiced and paid).
  3. Combined (Operational & Financial)

    1. Combined reports present operational metrics in conjunction with financial metrics to identify correlations between activity, requisition success, and financial outcomes.
  4. Data Query

    1. Historically considered reports, the fourth category is truly a data query. Data queries present data points from multiple databases within the ATS for further review and analysis or to simply present information vs. metrics.
